Charcot foot is a critical foot problem that may develop due to poor circulation and nerve damage. This condition may deform the shape of the foot and lead to disability. Initial symptoms often go unnoticed until more structural symptoms start to present themselves.

Symptoms of charcot foot or joint are: 

  • Mild to severe swelling
  • Inflammation
  • Erythema
  • Joint effusion
  • Bone resorption
  • Loss of sensation.
